Election Night

Election night is over. I am actually glad that election night is over with no disturbances, riots, sabotage by a foreign power and no major military action outside of the United States. As many of you know the war in Ukraine continues, but Russia did not choose to begin or escalate the ware on election night. (more...)

Did Russia know we had a midterm election? Yes they did. The fact that they choose not to exploit that is a good thing. By leaving the American election system alone, they have hopefullly shown the world that they can be reasoned with and not on a one track mindset of victory in Ukraine at all costs campaign. The coming weeks will see them either really de-escalate the war, or ramp it up with the full force of the Russian army.

It seems that the drone attacks upon Ukraines infrastructure continue, with half the country without power. As winter approaches the mayor of Kyiv has asked citizens to evacuate the city, or face conditions without power and water in the coming months. We will see if Russia continues there use of drones to attack key Ukrainian infrastructure in the coming months.
